Getting your test results
If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you.
Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them:
- in your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- in your SystmOnline account
- by phoning us on Cam Surgery 01453 540066 or Uley Surgery 01453 860459 between 3pm and 5pm
We ask that you ring between theses times as our staff will have more time to deal with your request.
Please allow 7 working days before phoning for the results of blood tests.
Both practices have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. We will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.
When you take your test you will be told how long it will be before the results are returned to the practice.
It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with your doctor if you are advised to do so.
