Dr Neil Fletcher, male

GP MA (Cantab), MB, BChir. (Cantab), MRCS (England), MRCGP, DFFP, DTM&H (Liverpool), ALCM

Dr Fletcher has been a GP since 2009 and he qualified from Cambridge University in 1998. His special interests are minor surgery, ENT, tropical medicine, and medicine education. He is a Bristol University GP teacher and a GP trainer.

He is married with 3 young and very energetic sons.

Dr Katherine Bristol, female

Partner BMBCh (Oxford) 1993 MRCGP, MSc (Bath) Sport and Exercise Medicine Science. Qualified as GP (1999) Joined CUFP as a Partner (2013)

Dr Bristol has been a partner at Cam and Uley Family Practice since 2013 and has a special interest in orthopaedics, teaching and environmental sustainability. 

Other interests – I enjoy walking my dog and trying to grow vegetables.

Dr Rebecca Bryden, female

Partner MBChB BSc (hons) MRCGP DRCOG

Dr Bryden has been a GP partner with Cam and Uley Family Practice since 2014. Her special interests are in family planning, palliative care and dermatology.

Dr Mike Armstrong, male

Partner BSc, MB/ChB, (Birmingham 2004) DRCOG, MRCP, MRCGP, Do-HNS. Qualified as GP (2010) Joined CUFP (2017)

Dr Armstrong worked in acute medical specialities before completing his GP training in Bristol in 2010. Before joining the team at Cam and Uley Family Practice, Dr Armstrong was a partner at a practice in Bristol.

He has no one specialist interest, enjoying all that general practice has to offer.

Dr Thomas Moore, male

MBBS (Imperial 2010) BSc MRCGP RCGP DRCOG

Dr Thomas Moore completed his final year of general practitioner training at the practice a registrar in 2017, before becoming a fully qualified GP in August 2018. Dr Moore is a full time member of the team, and has a special interest in diabetic clinics and musculoskeletal injections. He works at both Cam and Uley Surgeries and hosts the improved access clinics at Cam Surgery on a Monday evening. He joined the partnership in 2022. Dr Moore also worked in North West England, New Zealand and Gloucestershire with experience in women’s health. 

Dr Simon Lawrence-Owen, male

Dr Simon Lawrance-Owen has now completed his GP training and is staying with us at the surgery as a full time salaried doctor. He works at both Cam and Uley Surgeries.

Dr Daniela Hall, female

BMBS 2012  MRCGP 2021

Dr Daniela Hall joined CUFP in 2022. She has a broad interest in all medical specialities but have a background experience in Asthma Research and a specialist interest in medical education. She also works as a GP training programme director in Bristol and enjoy teaching Bristol Medical School Students.

She has two young children, a boisterous dog and a slightly overgrown (but well-loved) allotment to keep her busy outside of work.

Dr Mel Edgar, female

BA (Cantab), PhD (Edin), MBChB with Hons (Leicester-Warwick), MRCGP

Dr Melanie Edgar joined the Uley Surgery in 2010 after qualifying from Leicester Warwick University in 2005 and lives locally. 

She lives in Dursley and enjoy countryside walks.

Dr Hannah May, female

MBCHB University of Leicester 2017 MRCGP 2022

Dr Hannah May completed her GP training locally, then qualified as a GP in 2022 and joined CUFP in the same year. She has a special interest in the care of residents at The Hollies, and enjoys design, walking and travel.
